1975 KZ 900 Z1B Frame Paint

I did a search and read a few items but nothing that really sticks out as to what is the best way to paint your frame. So far I gathered that POR-15 chassis paint is fantastic. I called a few powder coating shops and it all sounds good but I hate that powder coat scratches so easily. I want to do a matte or satin finish, nothing glossy. has anyone done a POR-15 or spray can version that is similar? If so, then what did you do and what tips do you recommend?

I am sandblasting the frame, swingarm, and triple tree tomorrow. Followed by some fantastic cleaning of course. Any thoughts and pics would be helpful. Ill post my results as I paint.

Used it on my Jeep frame, I did the por-15 rust preventinve paint first with Chassis black on top. Worked great.

They sell it at your local PPG auto paint store....its a 3 part system. Easy to use.

I would do the POR-15 Rust preventer too before the chassis coat. I think that is the route I will go. Did you rattle it on or brush it on?

I like the 2 part motor trend idea. I am looking on their website now. Thanks.
