There's a class of removers for fiberglass parts typically called "aircraft" paint removers. I'm going to try some this weekend and let you know. I'm cleaning up the plastic body parts from my '77.

I would be real careful with that stuff around any of the painted plastic panels from a KZ. I haven't tried any of the stuff formulated for fiberglass, but the stuff for metal would melt your side covers into a pile of mush. The side covers and tail from a KZ are made from ABS plastic, not fiberglass. Just sayin' I would find a scrap piece of ABS to try out the paint stripper before you do any permanent damage.

I've sanded my plastic parts as most strippers will leave your plastic soft.... :S I haven't used any plastic specific stripper :dry: ....... let us know how it worked for you, good or bad
