If I decide to pint a bike, it is going to be a bright color:
bright red, orange, yellow etc.
I think, drivers should see me riding.
Which bright color do you like/suggest?
Paint code?
If I use bright color, should I use metallic or w/o metallic additive?
This is color I like (picture was taken from ebay)

Just remember that when you're on the bike, you should always be driving for other people- I NEVER trust anyone when I'm on my bike, no matter how safe it looks like they're driving.

From what I recall reading the first color the human eye sees is Chartreuse. Think bright lime green created with a blend of yellow. It used to be commonly accepted that yellow was the first color detected, thus the reason school buses and taxis were yellow for quick identity by the brain.

Here's a sample of Chartreuse. I think it would look pretty sweet on an old Kz which has traditionally used different shades of green for their race teams.

Cheers

Most of the serious threats to you when you're riding are in front of you (e.g. between 10 and 2 on a clock face). That would be oncoming traffic, cross-traffic at an upcoming intersection, and slowed or stopped traffic in front of you. From their position in front of you they're not going to see many painted surfaces on your motorcycle. They're more likely to see your headlight, turn signals/running lights, helmet, brightly colored riding gear, etc.

Granted - a brightly colored motorcycle couldn't hurt, but I always prefer brightly colored, high visibility riding gear.
