Adding a tail piece to an 82 LTD1000?

Hi folks. I just picked up an 82 KZ1000 LTD. Something I'd like to do to it if its not TOO involved, is add the rear plastic tail piece that the earlier bikes had. I think that duck tail piece behind the seat adds so much to the look of the bike. I'm sure I'm not the first to have this idea. Anybody out there done this to their "tailess" bike? If so, I'd love to hear about it and what it um... entails
Thanks.

Strange enough I just logged on to do my first post here on this very subject. I haven't even really looked at the bike to see the differences. I want to change a '80 G1 Classic. Really want to also get rid of the goober seat that's on it in favor of a B1,B2 LTD seat. To be sure someone else has done this.

I was going to put a tail on my 82 but decided against it. I still have the tail, it's kind of a mutant now with pieces glued on and bits shaves off, but you can have it for the cost of shipping if you like.
