So what is correct on the Z1, polished on the sides only or polished on the front and sides only or front, back and sides?

I've just seen so many variations I not sure what is correct.

My early 73 has it done all the way around on cylinder and block,not sure if its original though half the paint is worn/burned off. :)
that's the same way Ive always done my motors filing/block sanding all the fins on cylinder and head all the way around,though I rarely paint them because I cant find paint that will stay on. :sick: :laugh:
