I sorced this product for my engine repaint under the name "motor coater" from KBS.

Way to many steps to follow to apply product. Not as bad on frame.

Got my frame shot and powdercoated for a few dollars more... I dropped it off and picked up done.

i found the stuff ,while reading googled blogs.....

i was looking for stuff i could do with out stock piling tools again or relying on a shop to help me......

I have heard good things about POR15 paint. aparently u can get a brush on type and it is as hard as nails. Car guys sware by it.

seems like i could do the frame and a few of the chassis stuff that is black now in it and be good for a decent look...pay for a real greeny and decals pro body job....freshen up a few things...polish in house and zinc the bolts pro... ceramic the s-trapp....smoothies/tarrozi/brace/steel lines.....look good from ten feet , and be as in house and hands on as i could pull off... :)

The guy who painted my KZ tins said his dad used a KBS product "motor coater" on his 69 camaro resto and it was some fricken tough stuff.....he said when fully cured.....you could hit the painted part with a hammer and it didnt chip. He said it was very easy to apply with a brush or gun. If it gets on the skin forget-about-it....your black for a week.

Por15 is great, it's tough as nails that's for sure. I do know the reg por15 is uv sensitive, so underneath a car or suspension parts it's great. Bike frame, gets sun exposure. Won't stay gloss for long unfortunately.

I like to use a brush on the welds and top coat everything with a spray

I just bought the frame paint. I will post some pics. It got good reviews. We shall see. Gotta strip the frame this Saturday.
