WOULD LIKE SO OPINIONS ON COLOR I HAVE 1978 Z1-R NEEDS PAINT HAS Been RESTORED BY REDLINE CYCLE IN Skokie IL. frame imron paint,crank welded, tranz back-cut, 1075 kit carbs redone, pods n v/h 4 into 1 pipe but ugliest paint in the world (NOT DONE BY THEM)

I myself like the silver mist best but a good black bike is dang pretty. Just add a turbo, moly graphics decals and waalaa, second thought, don't! I'm doing that. :laugh: :laugh: I've seen Z1R's in many colors and none seem at home like the originals but that's just me I'm sure.
I vote Ram also, Not being biased by any means, I'm a picky sucker and I seen his work before he got mine to do, that tell you anything? And I've got 5A show winning body shops around me!

Black has alwys been an awesome color on these things Silver or Blue works too
Hell! These things can be nearly any color and look badazz.
I'm doing one in 70"s Agent Orange Metal Flake with Mustard Yellow and Black
stripes to match my son inlaws 74 Glasstron Boat and somehow I think thats gonna
look awesome LOL :laugh: :laugh:

Although Black is my favorite color for any motorcycle my friend Ted repainted his Z1R back in the day a Sapphire Blue Candy over a Silver metallic base and it looked awesome !!! Im trying to locate some of my old pics to share .Hope to find them soon

I've been wanting to do this scheme for a while but how about a mettallic purple with alot of red or blue pearl in it to give it that unique hue in the sunlight and then spray the frame a bright lime green or hot rod green. Sounds strange but it would look wild.
