larger gas tank

Hey all.
Looking to increase range of bike. Is there a larger tank that is available to just bolt on. Or something close with slight mods.
Looking for 5 to 6 gal capacity. I have spare tank that i can use the base and build one from scratch off of that but was wondering if wasn't something already available. Want to increase range but also have something to lean on when I'm really leaning into bike.

I don't know about the big bikes, but a 750 Standard-4 tank (4.2 gals) will bolt-on to a 750-Ltd (3.3 gals), BUT the Ltd triple tree will bang against it.

I have a standard tank on my LTD1000. Close to a gallon more fuel.
Now, if you get really thirsty for more fuel, you can do a mohawk tank mod for another gallon or so.
Not sure what it would look like on a KZ :whistle: Here's one on a ZRX.

I may just hold off on the tank project til I'm home. I may stick to my original idea of cutting top off my spare ltd tank and building it up. Once i have new handlebar on bike I'll know how much room I'll have between stock tank and my chest/belly
Best I've managed to baby out of kz is right at 30mpg so every ounce of fuel will help

Start with a KZ tank. You already have nearly a gl. more capacity.
Did you look at the MoHawk tank mod on the ZRX? That's wild.
