Original 1977 kz1000A1 color schemes

I'm looking for pics and descriptions of the original color schemes for the 1977 Kz1000A1. Any info or links would be appreciated.

this being said good luck finding the paint code for either Kawasaki never kept paint codes

Thanks guys. I'm starting to think about new paint for next year and am looking for ideas. I've been thinking about doing something that is inspired by the original scheme, but with contemporary colors and materials. While finding pics of z1s isn't a problem, finding pics of the original colors and stripe designs for the early 1000s has been harder. I love the orange/brown and green z1s so much that I might just use them as a pattern.

Look around on their pages, they do some outstanding work.

The 1977 KZ1000 blue and red factory paint jobs were done in a tri coat candy color system by Kawasaki back then. The blue had a solid burnt orange base coat, a silver flake mid coat, and a candy blue top coat, stripped then cleared. I don't know how you get a base coat / clear coat color to match that original Tricoat candy color.
