Japan declares war! On my helmet...

My neighbour and good friend Ken Forbister is an amazing artist. Known for his wildlife art he is also a killer pinstriper and airbrush guru.

I wanted a helmet to reflect my love for Japanese bikes and he took my idea and pulled off a what I think is a work of art.

He cooked up a really beautiful fine red metalflake and used the original white of the helmet adding the kanji by hand. My freinds at a body shop expertly gave it 5 or 6 clear coats.

The Kanji on the left means "Fearless Samurai who like to get drunk and act the hooligan" the one on the right is "Speed, power, strength and sumpthin' sumpthn'"

Ken also painted a distressed Japanese war flag on the back of my Joe Rocket jacket and it's got emroidered flags in both the rising and red ball sun, NGK and Yoshimuira patches. The cops can spot me a block away. Oh well.
