Handle bars for 78 kz1000 A2
15 Jul 2012 13:12
Hey Guys... I would like to get a set of bars that would make me lean a little forward. I am sitting up too straight. Would super bike bars be the right one's ? I am 6'2" and have long arms. I live in Michigan and our roads are bad. I was riding on I-75 and hit a bump and it really packed me down. I feel if I were leaning forward a little, it would be better on the back.

I have them on a couple of my bikes and I`m 6`3 works well. You should get shorter cables if you do.

About a year ago I switched from the stock KZ900/Z1 bars to the Superbike bars, I won't ever go back unless I'm doing a full on restoration.
I love them! I got shorter throttle cables, as well as a shorter brake hose (good opportunity to install braided stainless steel hoses if you haven't already). I'm 6'5 - at highway speeds, there is very little weight on my arms as the wind hitting my torso supports most of the weight. I think they are very comfortable.
