I can check with my packing house buddies to see if anybody has an extra black hide laying aroundkzz1king wrote: I am not sure my seat has the right pan, seems short. Also finding someone local to do the work is tough so I would be doing a lot of shipping! What kind of $$'s do you think that route would run? Thanks

I like the looks of this style seat on more custom z1's. They've been sold by a few different companies in the past.
2:4 was one, and Giuliari another - this specific one is the Giuliari version

I'd like to sell these seats - but I haven't found anyone making them at a reasonable price yet. The last time I searched for a seat manufacturer, I ended up talking to a guy in S. Vietnam... I saw a couple of samples of his seats for other bikes at mid-ohio last year - Randy Marble (Marbles Motors) was selling some for little Honda SL50's and SL70's - not bad, but, you wonder about ongoing quality and supply.
