The bucket that the headlight sits in, appears to be too small for the bracket. The guy before me put the headlight bucket on, before that the owner at another kawasaki fairing on. I am wondering if, in putting the fairing on, the headlight bracket was bent, or if im missing spacers or something.

Picture of the problem? Kinda sounds like a "Frankenbike", a mix and match of parts.

Would check out the headlight assembly diagram in kawasaki.com.

Lots of good info on kawasaki.com, including parts diagrams, part names, part numbers, models sharing same part, availability, etc. Here's a link for help with navigating the site and finding information.
