Tank lift on 650?

I'm trying to raise my 78 kz650 fuel tank a few inches to give it that chopper look but I'm not sure how to attack it. Can someone that's done this send some pics and friendly advise? Thanks guys.

Im guessing youd be able to move front mounts under tank up higher if thats the look your after.
