ok i will man up and say that i am wrong on this wrap stuff i just called a graphic place here in town to my surprise they have a vinyl that is made for motorcycles and it will wrap around a tank they said it mite have 1 seam in it but it can be done for around $350.00 + art work hard to believe but true my bad

Interesting, I was just going to quote you on trying to lay vinyl down on a tank, PITA. I just did numbers on my helmet and it was a bitch.
Still, $350? That's alot. You could do cut vinyl alot cheaper, but I think it would look fugly.
I think what the OP should do is get 2-3 spare tanks/bodywork with different designs, then swap them out.
