NICE! I envy you guys that do this kind of work. You wouldn't want me anywhere near your stuff with painting equipment.

LUV the paint work, good job! B)

Regarding "If I have to hire someone to tune the carbs then so be it."...

Learn to do it yourself no doubt! Once you figure it all out you'll be quite surprised how well she'll respond. What each different tweak does and how if effects performance, you hit different temps/elevations, no prob just a few minor tweaks all good...

Then throw into the mix that most service departments younger guys don't even know what a carb is let alone work on them... All computerized fuel maps/fuel injection these days ... Like I want one of these guys working on my girl... Naw.....

Plus you'll get the satisfaction knowing you accomplished this yourself... How cool is that... B)

Here, about everything you need to know... ;)

Gar1800 wrote: I cant wait, either! My problem is getting the carbs working right. I'll get it done as quick as my pockets allow. I'm going to attempt to get the carbs going on my own by reading the posts here. At least I was able to cut the paint restoration cost by doing it myself. If I have to hire someone to tune the carbs then so be it. Its going to be a nice bike.

Paint Removal ***************************************** $65

Paint is removed when we clean. All of it must come off and this is tedious and time consuming. We highly recommend you not request repainting. Paint is not durable when it comes in contact with gasoline.

Good Fortune! :)
