well i have gotten to the point where it is starting look normal. the seat cover is just set on it right now, so it will fit alot tighter.
the solo part is just primered black i will paint it to match the bike.

let me know what you guys think. !!!!!!

yes, i agree. this has been probably the hardest part of what i have done so far.

i got the new material today to cover the seat again. i don't like the old stuff. it will still be black, but i am going to try and do it all in one piece. try and clean it up some. i will post pics when i get it done. going to try tonight.

ok guys and girls. i have finished the covering of the seat. i was able to get this cut down and covered in one pice. this was a pian

at first i didn't like the pivot being able to be seen, but i think that it has a "mechanics" look to it. also i think that was really the only way that i could make it match the width of the tail section.

i will not be doing this any time soon again!!!!!!

Fun stuff. I ended up doing mine in one piece, after many failed attepts to sew a cover. It came oput much better, even though the stretching and stapling was pretty trying on the first few tries. I finally used som spray adhesive (on the back of the vinyl only...not contact cement style)to make it tacky, and that really helped me get the shape to conform with my cut foam.
