Vetter interchangeability
03 Jun 2006 09:30
Im watching a Vetter that came off of a Honda CB750. It comes with the mounting bracket. How universal are these things. I know Id end up having to do some work to mount it, or is it a lost cause and not worth the trouble.

Depends on the particular model of Vetter.
Here's a chart of what fits what straight from the source:

Obviously, some Vetters were better at interchangeability than others...

Hey Dan,
I currently have the "Quicksilver" fairing on my 80' 750.
I am wanting to go a regular headlight/signal set up.
Send me a PM if you would be interested, or if you want a pic.

I can tell you from experience that the fairing mount brackets are model specific to the bike, but it's not a big deal to modify them to fit as long as you have access to some sort of welder, or have someone weld it for you after you have mangled it to fit
I modified one from a Gold Wing to fit a KZ650, and another from a 750 twin to fit a KZ1000 CSR, so you know it can't be that hard if I did it
