..........when a bird has made its home inside your helmet. Little bird did such good work that I don't want to remove it! Sadlyhe has two weeks until the build is finished. Consider this your two week notice, little bird!

Or, when the clear coat paint on your glass beaded aluminum parts, starts oxidizing underneath after 10 years like car rims in the northeast.

So far I am doing all of my own work, and I intend on doing a separate post once it is all assembled. I really had no reason for taking it apart other than paint, but I did find little things that would have caused bigger problems later on. Especially with the front and rear brake systems.

After helmets have been banged up or are no longer usable I hang them in the shop. I have had four birds nest at one time. Momma birds sure can make a racket! Roy
