How do you clean your bike? What products work?

I wanted to ask you guys what you use to get your bike fully detailed.
What products work the best for you, and what areas do you use them on.
On the contrary, what products don't work? Which were over priced etc.
On areas like the following(please suggest more, these are just off the top of my head):
Chrome
Brake dust on wheels
Chain grease
Powder coat
Powder coat polish
Aluminum
Hard to reach places like spokes
Cleaning tequniques, like do you let some things soak with water for a bit before trying to scrub them.
Waxes
Quick detail solutions that work well.

And anything else you can think of.
-thanks

Awesome for removing grease and oil and Grime (dollar store 2.00)
Scrubbing bubbles on everything else but paint. (Anywhere 2.50)
I havent used any soap or wax on my paint yet but if I did it would be dawn dish soap
Windex on headlight chrome and mirrors
Mothers or never dull on aluminum Use my orbital waxer to apply and buffer to remove
I dont use cleaners on spokes it tends to make them rust.
mothers makes a good carnuba wax or maquires

Plan on giving mine a good going over saturday
