1978 kz650 side covers was created by nitrochristian
i have a 1978 kz650 and the side cover tabs were cut off, i want to replace them. i need to know what size hole to drill in tab after welding them on. i will be buying new grommets but like i said gotta know what size hole i need for proper fit.

I measured using a ruler at approx 11/16" / 17-18 mm.
