Seat lock issues

Okay heres the problem with the bike i picked up. i got the title and its good but he couldnt find the key so I now have the issue of how do i get the seat off since it has a lock? I know i can just swap the ignition but not sure about the seat

Take a close look at the lock and you may see a 3 digit code, such as 814. That code is the key number you need. If you get that key, and they often are available on eBay, or have a key with that code made, it will not only open the seat, but it will save you from needing to replace the ignition lock. Ed

Thanks! Ill do that. Sounds way better than the other answers i found on google telling me i had to pick it. Picking any lock is a last resort for me
