seat and tank ideas?? ltd kz440

so ive been digging and i see that my 440 doesnt have the same frame as the common cafe bikes.

I've bought a bunch of foam to try and mold something. I was thinking of keeping it a two up seat, but build a fiber glass cover so that i can make it look like a single seater when i'm riding solo..

i'll let you guys know how that turns out, but in the mean time, is there any custom work or aftermarket suggestions for this particular bike?

aslo, ive been looking for a squareish tank to replace my tank with?

I did a cafe 440ltd a few years back, and i used a suzuki gs450e tank and a tail that followed the contour of the frame, made of fiberglass and 1/4" plywood... i will attempt to post a pic shortly, but the build is on the kz400.com site under "440cafeish"...

The square one is the gs tank, they came onthe early 80s e models. The more rounded one is the stock tank, just slightly reshaped... it was a pretty easy fit for a zuk tank ok a kz. Just a couple of sections of pipe weded on for mounting tabs.

You have given me hope that my soon to be acquired kz440 LTD can be cafeish, instead of going for the bobber look (which I am also fond of). You did a fantastic job with it! Now to see the build on kz400.com!
