Fixing a bent headlight bracket. Any tips? was created by Juan1
I am going to fix my project '82 GPZ750's bent headlight brackets tomorrow. The Eddie Lawson looking fairing presently doesn't line up right, and I think the headlight is angled slightly to the side as well. The headlight and fairing are angled differently. I was planning to use a pair of clamps to bend the brackets while they are on the bike. Anyone done this? Any advice on the best way to straighten things out?

the clamps with some hardwood blocks would be my choice.unless i took them off then i would use a press and some hardwood blocks.
