I have the same delimma going on. my build went from a cheap rider to morphing into
a project within a project.

Reality says This wont be the one and only time I paint my bike so painting the frame to match limits my future paint scheme combinations without a complete tear down. my .02 is to paint it Black

It really does go with anything

As long as you pick an achromatic color it will go with anything. That being said, most people do that because its the safe route. If your looking to have the frame pop out a bit more and do something different why not pick a color. It can be really subtle like a dark bronze, or pewter, and still have most colors look good with it. Is the frame you are painting the bobber in your avatar? I think the bronze would really fit the character of a bobber, especially with the bare metal tank. In the end its your bike so do what you like.

I powdercoated mine a very glossy silver, looks like bare metal.

Struggled with the same decision, but in the end, I thought why go to all the trouble, and paint it black.

Take the time to smooth out all the nasty welds, that is definately well worth it.

As for the color scheme, hell pick a color you like for no matter what, someone here is going to come back with "You should have painted it this color, or "I" don't like the color, If it was my bike I would have" etc...

Hell whether you asked for their opinion or not they'll stick come back with... :pinch:

It's your creation/design to call your own and that's all that matters... ;)
