Need help identifying a paint code... was created by stickman
Good morning folks: I have a 1979 KZ1300 being restored and am trying to select the color to paint it. The photo below is one that I located randomly by internet search. It appears to be a dark blue, anyway, I love the color and would like to id it.

<a href=" s248.photobucket.com/albums/gg183/stickm...ent=EuropeanBlue.jpg " target="_blank"> i248.photobucket.com/albums/gg183/stickman2332/EuropeanBlue.jpg " border="0" alt="Photobucket">

Can anyone tell me if it is an original color for the 1300? And would anyone happen to have the paint code? I know that's asking alot but this group has come thru for me before. Any assistance will be much appreciated. Happy holidays. Stickman

+1 on the above. paintworkz.com/

On a stranger note...I'd avoid what used to be the 'go to' place for information on KZ1300's...that being www.kz1300.com as the site owner appears to have gone over the edge :)

I have never done a color match on the KZ 6 cylinders....but it probably is a Candy color. Some sort of solid color base like a dark grey, a silver flake mid coat and a Candy blue top coat. Just guessin'

Over the edge is right! Heck, they're so far over the edge they can't even see it in their rear view mirror! I wonder what happened? Ed
