I am fond of the 74-75 Z1 scheme like this

But I want to do that classic paint scheme over carbon using candy so you can see the weave under the color like this

Before I decided on this path, I was going to go with a WWII allied aircraft paint scheme, with the USAAF insignia, and invasion stripes. Hell, I went so far as to work on some rough plans for an undertail muffler with 6 exits on each side to mimic a Merlin V12

Maybe I'm just conservative, but I like the carbon fiber redux of the classic paint scheme the most.

Ok just got this from ebay from a guy named the phactoryandmore bought it thursday had it by noon today. near mint cap and a nice chrome aftermarket petcock with adapter.
the paint would be pretty good for a rider. little rust inside not as bad as mine was. side covers are way nicer than mine were. 85.00 delivered to the house. I could Scuff it and put graphics on the green. or I am gonna sand it paint it silverish to look like aluminum panels with rivits and the allied Star with a couple true ghost effects (only see it clearly when the sun hits it)I really want to put a GSXR Cap in it (put the sweet one on my Kryptonite Tank) What to do? too many options... any ideas?
