right side cover ?

I need a rt side cover for my 82 kz 1000 ltd . i have been looking on ebay and i see tons of left sides for many different years butt hardly any right sides , Is there any reasons i dont see many rt sides ? or just that thats all there is currently on ebay ?

I would go over the bike from one end to the other, make a list, then order.
Look at service Items, valve cover gasket is only $8 or so, and oil filters are like $3.50, do a check of your Steed and then make an order. I and everyone else here will recommend Z1!!

The reason you don't see any on Feebay is they all crack and break at the securing points. If you order a new on, Get new grommets where it fits to the frame, then put a small amount of Silicone grease there so when pulled, they will come off. Dried out grommets and the new one may break as well.

good info ! I plan to do just that motorhead . I have a list im making . I plan to order just what i need to see if it will run first . if i get lucky and it does run my list will be much smaller for next order lol / its been sitting a long time though ! I pulled plugs and have some marvels mystery oil in cylinders , hopefully it isnt locked up from sitting and runs .

Hey I seem to be having the same problem and cant find a right side cover for a 82 Spectre 1100, I checked the z1 enterprise site but was unable to find it, Does anybody know if if any other KZ models fit on my bike?

Kawasaki shows a Ebony/ Black RH side cover for the 82 100 Spectre being only for the 82-83 1100 Spectre. But one of the others may be close, but probably still from the Spectre. The Sport Touring A2 was different, the closest may be the LTD bike. Know anyone in your area with one of these to do a test fit? Or is there a Wreckers in your area to Try a couple?

i was checking out the schematics on the ltd and they looked close but slightly different, will check to see if there is a bone yard around me. Appreciate the help, Thanks!
