Well, 3 cans didn't get it. I bought a sand blaster and glass beaded it. If I had to do it over again starting with a black finished engine I would just go with the glass beading to start with.

Yeah, i think I remember reading that they changed the paint on the 83-84 gpz because of how bad it was on the 81-82 models. They used to have to touch them up at the dealer after running the bikes.
