Paintless dent removal?

There is one small smooth pushed-in type dent on the '83 1100LTD I just bought - no paint damage, and I wonder if anyone has tried successfully to get one of the "paintless dent removal" outfits to correct something like this?

Go to a couple dealerships and talk nice to their body shop guys about your tank. Find out if they have a dent repair guy that comes to their dealership to fix dings. Some of these dent guys have a clientele of dealerships that they vist on a regular basis. If you find a dealership that uses this service, a body man should be ok with giving you the name of the dent man because the dealership has no interest in fixing a motorcycle tank. Ed

YUP - that's the one that is a 300 mile round trip from the remote eastern Oregon area I live in - I've tried to contact the dent removal shop a couple of times, but no reply to my messages - will try again after a few higher priority issues are taken care of - then probably take the tank over when I have to go that way for other reasons anyway - not worth a special trip...
