KZ1000P seat changeout

My buddy has an '85 KZ1000P that he wants to change the seat on. He'd like to go with something like an LTD seat, anyone got any experience swapping them out? He'd like to do it before we take our Colorado cruise this summer, prevent a little of that ole Monkey-butt.

Has your buddy changed out the seat? I am in the reverse situation I have a 1982 LTD and would like to change out with the P model. Unfortunatly my seat is severly damaged or I would offer to trade.

IF he has changed it out does he want to get rid of it? let me know thanks.
