I've had this cheap 3m Headlight Lens Resto Kit for a couple of years. Works pretty good on the fading plastic covers that most cars come with these days.
Then I looked at my Vetter windshield, then my Face shield. Got it and the Makita out and went to it. that cheapo kit did a real nice job on the Vetter shield, and the Face shield on my helmet. Its a great plastic polisher. I've used the commercial kits with the sandpaper and chemicals from 3m, and there Air Tools in a "Head Light buff Kit". This cheapo one works almost as well as long as there is not to much UV damage.
