it sucks!

looks good wet,but

then it dries out.

and you will wish you hadn't.

that is my .02 .

i learned my lesson quite a few years back tho,

soooooooo maybe it has gotten better  .

doubtful.

grab a can and an old car wheel and have a go,less than $20.00 bucks to know for sure.

report back if you give it a go.

Hi
Yes I tried it on a plastic radiator cover on a Triumph Thunderbird and the result was very poor. It is not much better than silver aluminium paint even when clear coated.
Different brands may give different results but in my opinion the finish is nothing like chrome.
The rattle can top itself looked pretty good though

Yes it does, hence the thought of giving it a try. I'll maybe just stick with metal flake...

Take a look at these guys. Not rattle can price, but if you're serious about chrome like paint, it might be the way to go.

Saw some pics in one of my Hot Rod or Chevy High Performance mags a couple of years ago of a late 60's Chevy truck where the chrome molding strip along the upper part of the rear fender/ bed had been painted inplace of the molding. From the pics straight on it looked just like the molding.
My spare gas tank and side covers are at my painters shop now and he is supposed to paint the emblems with chrome paint (where there is chrome of course). When it's done I'll report back... don't hold your breath as they are on the back burner.

nevrr gonna get a chrome like finish with a paint, closest you will get is with a ceramic finish but its more like a finished aluminum look. I have seen many videos of guys using product that say it works weel , then tried them and none have lived up.

The exhaust pipes on the Voyager were pretty ugly, so I sandblasted and sprayed with hi-temp aluminum paint. The pipes run under the bike and are hard to see, so I didn't care too much about how shiny they were. The paint's held up, and it's lots easier to wipe them down.

This was true in the past; but no longer. Take a look at the Leno video, this is real, not some gimmick:
