Bought a new bike with a "wrap"

I have a 1977KZ650B that has been a hanger queen for about 2 years. Electrical gremlins. I bought this 2008 Suzuki GSX650F last week and it has this shrink wrap finish. Very cool. This company , Source One Signs does this. Norton Shores Michigan. I'm going to get my KZ done up before it hits the road.
This Suzuki is like the KZ. Maybe a tad more pep. The KZ, by hook or crook, will be on the road next year after the snow is gone.

I have seen that done on several bikes. The cost of doing it was not much more then a pain job? Stunters seem to like it since it will actually hold the plastic together when they crash and hide the cracked plastic if applied after one.

I'm interested in your findings... if it is less than a paint job.

Been on vacation. From what I've was told by the dealer it was about $400 for the wrap. Good custom paint jobs are about 3 times that if you can't DIY. I guess if you wanted to, buy all white plastics and change them when they go bad. Anyway, when my KZ gets back on the road I'm going to get the tank and side covers done, leaving the fenders chrome. Should be sharp looking
