77 kz1000 what kind of paint for frame/batterybox?

I want to touch up the paint on my frame, the color is black, Does any one know what kind of paint works best?

Unless frame has been powdercoated, most any gloss black will work. I use black caliper paint as it is both gloss and heat resistant plus u can brush it on.. good luck.bj

I've had good luck with Rustoleum 7779 Gloss Black. The code is on the can right above the bar code. It is a very close match to the Z1 and KZ factory paint on the frames. I buy it at my local True Value harware store. Should be readily available at many stores.
