Paint type and how to?

I have a 1983 1100 spectre, I would like to touch up the engine covers where peeling has started. Its a gold color. I was wondering if anyone knew the paint code and type of paint that was used to paint it?

Can you post a photo? I kinda wonder if the gold is some sort of anodized coating.

I did post a decent picture in the new guy section if you would liketo take a look. I think you may be right on the anodizing. I would post another one here but can not seem to figure out how to lol.
