seat swap

Could anyone tell me if the seat from a 78-79 400 ltd model fit my 1980 440 ltd??? thanks. Chris

Zedder cross reference lists the 79 400LTD seat as part #53001-1061 and the 80 440LTD seat as part #53001-1087 with a second # 53001-1124....so, going by the part #'s - no...
but the only way to know for sure is try it.
