Decal and Paint ??

Im in the process of repainting my body work and need some opinions.
My paint specs call for clear to be sprayed withhin 24 hours of the base coat.
I have to lay the decal in that time, or could I spray a light coat of clear lay the stripes then clear again, I will probably shoot 3 coats clear, yes its 2 part clear. And should I add flex additive to the base and the clear for the plastic parts.

Most decal instructions(Reproduction Graphics) call for a paint cure time of at least a week before installing then let decal cure for 2 days before clearing. So clear the color within the 24 hours then wait a week to put on the decals. No flex additive needed.

This is why it is better to use Lacquer with these stickers than base-coat clear-coat. If you do not apply the coats within the required amount of time they will peal from each other.
