dent in my 80 kz1000 st tank was created by Linsk
I purchased a1980 kz1000 st with only 2400 miles on it. it has a small dent in the left side of the tank.the paint is not chiped or cracked. Can a company like dent wizzard come in and fix?.bike ben in storage for 27 years. still looks great.does any body have any ideas.

They should be able to as long as they can get to the dented area through the filler hole. Let us know how it turns out. Ed

AS a body man... i have to say paintless dent removal isn't effective for the long run. Microscopic paint cracks can still exist even there are no "creases" i would fix the dent properly by using a stud gun and ect.
OR make a matching dent on the other side and call it a day :woohoo:

:woohoo:(Legal disclaimer:while i personally have no first hand knowledge of leaving a dent in tank,or adding a matching dent on other side.i leave such things to trained professionals,it was funny i dont care who ya is! :woohoo: )

That may be your experience, but it's not mine. My wife's car had a pretty good dent in the fender but no paint damage, and she had the paintless dent repair guys fix it. That was about 7 years ago and it still looks like new. Why F up a perfectly good paint job if you don't need to? If it cracks sometime in the future you can paint it then, if not, you have preserved the original paint and spent much less money. Ed

before you have a paintless crew come in be sure and check tank for rust and sed as this could cause alot of prob if it is knocked loose during the process as a bodyman/and amature fabricator have saw this more than once and tenn you are into a carb rebuild Good luck
