older style tank on kz750

hello folks , does anyone know if the older style (more pointy) tank will fit on instead of my teardrop tank?

dont know what model it is think its a 1983 h3 :S havent got the log book back from dvla yet

looks the same at the front but as you have said the back fixing looks different, well thats the style of tank i want so i will make it work somehow.cheers for all your help!
