Army paint question

I wanted to do a military theme on my KZ, I am putting lower handlebars, wrapping pipes in tan header wrap for a more rugged look, installing fork shoes (not sure the technical term) and I know am getting ready to paint.

Not sure what the best route for painting is, i own a compressor with a paint gun, which I have never used. I wanted a flat army green paintjob, but I dont know which route to go. I can always rattle can it, but how durable is it? will it just rub off? or never feel good? Not sure if that makes sense, but I was at a bike show today looking at Royal Enflieds military bike, and the paint job is flat, while still feeling very durable.

Any help would be wonderful.

Thanks!

Thanks! Didn't know that "dull clear" even existed. Is it a rattle can sorta thing or only for guns?

Any clear coat worth a damn will have a hardener or activator, and will have to be sprayed with a paint gun. Rattle can clear exists, even in the semi-gloss and flat varieties, but it will not hold up to gas when you spill a little filling your tank B)

Trans Star has a 2K epoxy primer.
2 part system 50%/50%.
I have seen a green shade not shure how dark or light green though?
I use black and gray primers. Tough as nails!
They also have red and white primers.
