I agree, I like the contrast. Everybody has black or chrome. be different.i think the red looks good, because with everything else black around the engine, it kinda makes the bike look like it has a huge gap and no engine...at least with the red guards, it gives it contrast.....and by the way, its not fair that you have a power coating station:angry:

Whats wierd is if you had a chin spoiler that was red...it would work. However, as just guards it doesn't. In the words of AC/DC, "BACK TO BLACK"!

My powder coating station consists of a $25 electric oven, Sears (craftsman) Powder coat gun $160.00. I've used many different coating guns including the HotCoat and the cheap one from Harbor Freight. The Craftsman Gun is the best for the money with less mess and doesn't require the use of an air compressor. The coverage is better and no moisture in gun from airline.
I have a nice Snap On Blast Cabinet just big enough to put a frame in. However, I send the frame out for the Powder Coat.
