I have a 75, and wanted to know if there are usage issues with parts from a 76-77...
I'm new to this site, so if its obvious somewhere on the forum, well, be gentle...

I want to see if I can use a tank and/or tail and/or side pieces from 76/77 KZ900 on my 75 Z1. I have pieces I on my bike I want to restore/repaint but also wanted to know my options if/when I needed new or spares.
Thank you for the answer on my original questins!!!!
Regards,
John
Likely find the KZ900 tail piece is longer and with a flatter contour over Z1's round tail light.
Good Fortune!

tank/tailpiece bolt right on,side cover bottem mount is differant.
what are you doing with the z1 pieces?
They kinda fit.
The tank is the easy part. That's a straight swap.
The tail will bolt on, but you also need to change the complete tail light assembly over - the KZ tail lights are much squarer. The tail trays are different as well.
