1976 KZ900 Badges

I have a 1976 KZ900 that I just picked up a couple of weeks ago. It does not have the Kawasaki badges on the tank or the KZ900 badges on the side covers. The tank has been repainted and the side covers are reproduction parts, so the holes in the tank have been painted over and the side covers do have any holes. Where is a good place to get stickers for the tank and side covers.

I picked up original replacements for the tank badges from a local cycle salvage. They were in as good or better shape than my side cover badges were.

There are reproduction badges available on the market, for example I think Z1 Enterprises has them. AmericanClassix.com has them for sure.

I drilled holes in my one replacement side cover to mount the cover badge.

I know there are decal manufacturers out there, I see them advertise in the UK mag Classic Motorcycle Mechanics every time I read through it, I just can't remember them right now.....

What I think I need are reproduction stickers. The gas tank has been repainted and the holes for the Kawasaki emblem has been covered. The side covers are reproduction pieces and there are no holes for the KZ900 emblems.

Thanks for the reply luger. I like the way the tank sticker looks but not too sure about the side panel sticker.
Has anyone seen these on a bike ? How do they look ?

You can get what ever you need at Reproduction Decals Ive bought a few from them and they are either nos or very good reproduction pieces.

I got my stripes at reproductiondecals.com and was very pleased with the results. 'Course, I had a professional put them on because, given my past history of model airplane decals, it would have been a disaster!:laugh:

Wow those are some mighty fine looking side covers link.

Thanks, if I hadn't messed up the engine on re-assembly this summer, I'd have a picture of the whole bike. That will have to wait until this Spring. The tank's even better than the side covers.
