Stripped Kawasaki emblem screws

I'm trying to remove the Kawasaki emblems from a tank and the screw heads are stripping! Thinking about drilling them and using an easy out. Any recommendations on this or another way?

I searched the old threads prior to this posting and did not find much useful info.

Only drill enough to remove the head of the screw, a left hand drill bit may back them out. If you take only the head off then soak em and grab with a good "Duck Billed" pliers.

The screws are 3mm. If you can't find an easy-out or left handed drill bit that small, use a 4mm drill bit to take the head off like motorhead suggested. That should do it ;)

Thanks for the great tips. I'll let you know how it turns out.

If I weren't having the tank repainted I'd just leave the emblems on.

I managed to drill the heads off two screws and then remove them with a vise grip.

On the other side of the tank, I drilled the heads off and there wasn't enough screw left to grip and remove. Next I tried cutting a small line in the screws and remove them with a regular screwdriver. No dice.

So one side of the tank will have the badges reattached with screws and the other side will have them reattached with glue or double stick tape. The remaining stubs will be used to properly position the badge.
