My 77KZ650 \"chop\" progress
16 Apr 2006 22:09
Hi guys,
I posted a month ago a before and after photoshop of the "bobber" style plans I had for my tired and rescued 650. Well here's a site I made to keep track of the progress.
I won't go into anything here as the site explains a lot of it. I'm totally open to suggestions though on things like my seat and what the heck to do about my puking gas carbs.
Check it out here and tell me what you think of both the small site and the progress of the bike. Keep in mind I'm a total newbie to this whole bike thing, so be kind. haha

Looks good man! Might want to look at how legal putting your plate down there is, i think i read somewhere it has to be in the center. But other than that, happy wrenching and keep us posted!

NIc it's coming along well. looks a bet like my '80 ltd will have to get my pics downlaod soon so ya'll can see them. I don't believe a side mounted plate holder is illegal at all. hasn'that guy ever seen a chopper before.

Yeah, also because some parts of Canada are known for having some stupid regulations when it comes to cars. I'l put it where it needs to be to get registered. After that it's all good.

Doubted man. Seeing as it's a 5 day drive n'all. And also because most of the gas in my tank right now end up on my feet because of my carb issues. All to be rectified soon though thanks to a purchase from WiredGeorge.
Then all that's left to do then is replace a bunch of O-ring gaskets, check my valves, change my ignition to a DYNA-S, replace the coils, new wires, maybe a 4-1 exhaust, build a seat....
shoot... that's still a lot I guess. :pinch:
