Bought a running 1981 KZ1000 with the intention of fixing it up and reselling it. Right now, the ENTIRE bike is painted in rattle can black. Yep, the entire bike. Looks like the last guy bought several cans and started spraying, including the chrome exhaust, etc.
So, the question: What would be a good re-sellable paint job/combination? Straight black? What were the original 1981 color schemes? What will sell?
