So if a guy wants a green CF Clipboard, how much is that worth to you? I'd be willing to purchase that one right there if you want to recoup some of your money spent on materials. I don't care if it has pinholes. I want to try the ghost painting on that for kicks.

The color infused parts look great. It would be cool to see some bodywork made like that. Is there a good selections of colors that you can work with?

Great work!

And I actually need a clipboard for my garage- I'm tired of writing illegibly on that crinkle-finish paint on tool chests!

No eBay APP ID and/or Cert ID defined in Kunena configurationOK Josh and Mark, $25 and they are yours. Probably sounds a little steep for a clipboard  BUT, I will not send them out with pinholes, so I'm going to clearcoat them. I thought maybe I'd toss a Kaw sticker along the bottom prior to painting, like this one:

I also need to order a couple more clips, but those are pretty cheap. Any other custom requests?

$25 sounds totally fair to me. Send me a pm with your paypal info, and I'll get you paid with a quickness. The Kawasaki sticker would be a nice touch. I don't need anything else.

To be a clipboard, it needs to have a clip! They aren't expensive, $1.50 or so.

I roughly trimmed out that last right sidecover I made, and it weighed in at 4.5 oz :woohoo: It's the lightest one I've made so far, and its still strong enough for me to stand on (though I don't recommend making a habit of standing on $200 sidecovers  )

A t.p. rack Craig? Surely you jest :P

wow! hey wow and wow! :woohoo: OK I must know. What's the top layer of material and what exactly is holding the colored dye?

Is that kevlar woven with the carbon? Was the fabric white or yellowish to start with? I'm going to do something like this, so I'd appreciate details on the materials.

great work!

I've got your answers right here Nelson. ;) The cloth is a 5.7 or 5.9 oz carbon/aramid hybrid fabric, 2x2 twill weave. The aramid is the standard yellow color. The resin is a 2:1 aluzine epoxy resin that is water clear. I used a basic off the shelf resin tint. Anything I missed?

thanks! where did u buy that stuff? Local FRP supply store or online?

I imagine you could mix different tints to get most any color you want, yes?
