HELP! What is a ..............

.....TI-33 Kawasaki KZ 750 Gas Tank- 80 model G1 LTD II

I've seen several on Ebay......
Will it fit on my KZ 550 LTD ???

What other tanks will fit my 1981 550 LTD....I commented on the other post here and saw a couple replies but wasn't cacthing if the replies were referring to me or original poster?

At this point I am desperate!! I don't care what it looks like (i'll worry about cosmetics this winter)! As long as it fits and I can have the inside treated for rust, I just want to RIDE damnit!!!!!

isee several here that would need some work but would work...the link only shows one tank but i found many by searching "kawasaki 550 gas tank"

You probably already checked Ma Kaw's website.... Looks like the 80 and 81 550 Ltd are the only compatible ones listed, but that's probably only in reference to the color so that doesn't help much.

I'd guess that only a KZ550-Ltd chain drive tank would work.
The other 550 tanks either look different or the rear mount is different.
Typical search terms: KZ550, KZ550Ltd, 550 Ltd, KZ550C, Ltd550, etc.
