I wonder about the diff. between rattle can primer and primer out of the spray gun as well. It would seem that if you can use paint out of a rattle can and 2 part clear out of the spray gun, then you can use primer out of a rattle can and spray the paint and clear out of the gun. I do not know and have never done it but I soon will.

Hey, this is some of the BEST rattle can primer i have ever used, and ive use alot. Its lays down very even and smooth, the spray nozzle's have the perfect srpay pettern and they dont clog, you can tip em upside down and it will still spray. And it is hard to make this primer run. i reccomend this primer to anyone.

Primer in a rattle can is a lot thinner than primer you mix up and spray, Also most of the primers you spray from a gun are two part and dry harder and faster than rattle can. Rattle can primer takes WAY more coats to fill bad spots.

can u elaborate on the good stuff. do i need a 2 part? can i get good results with 1 part? how long will a 2 part last on the shelf after mixing?
